As the Olympic Games herald Paris 2024 as the most gender-equal event in terms of athletes, it is evident that progress remains elusive in addressing the disparity in the number of female coaches. In the lead-up to Paris 2024, numerous media articles have highlighted this significant shortfall.

Despite considerable global investments from international federations, national Olympic committees, and funding organisations, the representation of female coaches has seen little to no improvement.
And…as we are about to see, Paris 2024 has so far failed to make any headway.
The FCN has been informed directly by the IOC that the percentages of female coaches will not be released until after the Games. As a result, we have had to rely on our own information gathering.
At the moment, we only have information on the Head Coaches, but will update when more information is released:
